| ¡ Audio/Video | Sound mixing Video presentation This team is responsible for all of the technical aspects of worship and the ministry. This ranges from sound mixing, video presentations and technical support. Team members serve based on availability on a weekly basis and as special needs arise. Training is available. |
| ¡ Children's Church | Audio/video support Mentors Leaders Children's church is our main children's ministry. Children spend time during our Sunday morning worship experiencing an age appropriate learning time in God's word. You can lead large group presentations, or small group discussions. You can help the technical aspects of this ministry or the crafts. If you enjoy working with kids and connect with them, find out if this is where you might serve. |
| ¡ ChristCare | Small Group leaders Group members ChristCare is our primary small group ministry with trained small group leaders. Leader training is available as scheduled for those who would like to consider leading a group. If you have a passion for people, what God can do in them and like facilitating group discussion, this may be for you. |
| ¡ Christian Education | Small group leaders Christ Follower plan development If you have a passion to see people transformed as they experience God's word along with the fellowship of others, this is your thing. The goal is to develop opportunities and equip families to be in the word at home. Be a part of developing various approaches to encourage this. |

| ¡ Greeters | Greet visitors Welcome guests with a gift People are trained to welcome people as they worship with us each week. Visitors are greeted and introduced to others as they enter and are offered items of information and gifts as part of their visit with us. |
| ¡ Kitchen | Help supply kitchen Keep kitchen in working order This team supports a variety of activities by assuring that the kitchen is well supplied and in working order. Volunteers are used on an as needed basis relative to when events are scheduled that utilize the kitchen. |
| ¡ Food Pantry | 2nd Sunday offering Volunteer at the food pantry Every 2nd Sunday we take an offering to help supply our local food pantry. There is also volunteer opportunities to serve at the food pantry by helping to sort and arrange items that are made available to those in need. |
| ¡ Missions | Global mission trip opportunities Throughout the year there are opportunities for individuals and/or groups to participate in long distance mission trips from |
| ¡ Nursery Ministry | Nursery Staff Special event childcare We have a lot of kids therefore we need people to help care for them as parent serve in various areas of ministry. Volunteers are screened and serve on a scheduled basis on Sunday mornings as other special activities as they are available. This is a vitally important ministry here at Messiah. |
| ¡ Parish Nurse | Blood pressure checks Blood drives Holistic health Our parish nurse program helps us focus on our physical and spiritual health. This is done through wellness though blood pressure checks, blood donations, and other services, training and educational events. They also support our homebound members. |
| ¡ Praise Team | Worship leading Musical instrument talents The Praise Team is always looking for people with gifts to help facilitate the leadership of worship on Sunday morning. A variety if instrumentation and vocals are needed to enhance our worship experience. Come and worship. |
| ¡ Prayer Blanket | Sewing Computer design layout Like to sew high tech style. This ministry uses modern technology to provide beautifully personalized stitched blankets for people who are in need of special prayer. The church owns the equipment or you may use your own. |
| ¡ Preschool | Board member Event/activity assistance Substitute for class assistants Our Preschool ministers to children ages 2-4 years old. If you would like to be directly involved in the lives of our community's children, consider joining the Preschool Board. The time commitment is small, but the rewards are huge! Experience in the educational field is not necessary. |
| ¡ Property | Indoor/outdoor maintanance Special projects Landscaping & More! Like to fix it, paint it or make it look green. The property team is always looking for people to do everything from little fix it projects to help with landscaping upkeep. |

Creative banners Worship atmoshere Like to make banners or help create a worshipful environment? This team helps to provide visuals that aid in setting the tone for our worship each week. Whether it be banners or other visuals, each aspect is designed to bring us into the presence of God. So, if you are crafty or love decorating, here is your chance to serve. |
| ¡ Small Groups | Small group facilitator/leader Join the group These study groups are offered on a rotating basis throughout the year based on our discipleship process and as other interests and needs arise. Has God placed a desire in your heart to facilitate a group or topic? Do you have a passion to see lives transformed by the power of God's word? Would you like to be a part of a group like this. Let us know. |
| ¡ Summer Bible Camp | Crafts, Games, Meals, Leader, Mentor & More Our Summer Bible Camp is one of our highlighted outreach events. The program runs from Sunday through Friday evening with a meal and program. Volunteers fill many roles all the way from registration, meal prep to teachers and helpers. This is a fun way to get involved. |
| ¡ Ushers | Pass out bulletins Welcome guests Seat people With a cheerful attitude our ushers welcome and assist people in finding a place to join us in the Sunday morning worship. They also help guide people in the movement of the service during Holy Communion and offering. |
| ¡ Volunteer Recruiting | Recruit volunteers Plug people into ministry This team assists in identifying people to serve in various ministry opportunities as the need arises. |
| ¡ Youth Ministry | Youth ministry group leader Event planner Resource person Have a love for kids and a desire to see kids transformed by the power of Jesus love working the lives of youth? Adult leaders help facilitate the small groups and events of the youth ministry groups along with the youth. Teams are formed to teach, lead discussions and facilitate the social and spiritual growth of the youth. |
