"Freedom For Mothers"
A new Bible study group will be starting January 14. It will be held every Thursday for 11 weeks and will meet in the chapel or a classroom (depending on the group size) at Messiah from 9:00 am (the first 15 minutes for fellowship) to 11:00 am.
The study is written by Denise Glenn who founded the “Motherwise” organization. It will motivate and inspire any woman to become a better mother, wife, daughter, friend and most importantly a more educated Christian. It covers any age group from the Moms-to-be to the mom who has children in college. This is my third time doing this study -- it is truly inspirational! There is 4 days of about 30 minutes of homework each week. But, don’t fret, if there are weeks where you don’t have time, or don’t have time at all, I believe just coming to the study each week and seeing the DVD portion will still be beneficial for any woman wanting to grow in their faith! Again, the study will run for 11 weeks beginning on January 14 and end on March 25, just in time for spring break. There is a study guide/workbook that each participant will need to purchase for $15 each (scholarships are available). Please pay to Messiah in the church office.
